Located in north Scottsdale in the cooling foothills of Pinnacle Peak, the newly re-styled Talavera is now a contemporary Spanish steakhouse that focuses on traditional Latin ingredients and specialties such as paella, dry aged steak, jamón Ibérico, fresh seafood and a flavorful selection of tapas. Talavera Chef Samantha Sanz seeks out fresh heirloom tomatoes and produce from local farms, olive oil sourced from a nearby mill, and Arizona-ranch raised meats.
The restaurant features vibrant contemporary decor, dramatic views and the best patio dining in the Valley. Created to pair perfectly with the new Latin concept of Talavera is its contemporary new Gin Bar. The bar features a Spanish-inspired menu of gin tonics, as well as sherry, beer, cider, vermouth and a selection of wines. A focal point of Talavera is a dramatic fire element positioned for both indoor and outdoor diners to enjoy. The patio and restaurant is framed by glass, offering un-obstructed views of the surrounding Valley and desert beyond. Guests can take in sunset views while dining on the patio, or while lingering with dessert and coffee under the stars.
Open for dinner 5:30 to 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. In summer (June through mid-September), open Thursday through Sunday.
