When you’re in the mood for home-style, regional cuisine, there’s no place better than Rita’s Kitchen at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resort & Spa. Featuring a casual and contemporary Southwestern flair, Rita’s uses locally grown and seasonal ingredients in dishes ranging from Pan Seared Salmon to Shrimp Enchiladas Verdes. Guacamole is fashioned tableside for the freshest presentation, and chickens marinate overnight for Rita’s best-selling enchiladas. Dinner is when you’ll get a full taste of all that Rita’s Kitchen has to offer. Just some of the must-try plates include Slow-Cooked Green Chili Pork, Sizzling Fajitas and Filet Mignon.

If you consider dining to be an art form, then Chef Alvarez will most definitely inspire your palate. And, when it comes to libations… Rita’s boasts several awards including Best Happy Hour, Best Red Sangria and Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. Adobe walls, terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings play off of the restaurant’s Sonoran Desert setting. Copper accents and vibrant artwork enliven the senses. Unsurprisingly, residents and visitors love to dine on Rita’s patio where views of nearby Mummy Mountain are plentiful.
