Lon’s Cowboy Candy Bar

Once the home and studio of famed cowboy artist Alonzo “Lon” Megargee, the culinary centerpiece of The Hermosa Inn is LON’s at The Hermosa, the celebrated Four Diamond restaurant renowned for its ‘Globally Inspired Arizona Fare’. Offering a bold and contemporary take on the multitude of foods originating in the western hemisphere, age-old cooking methods of smoking, roasting and wood-grilling are employed along with European techniques to create artful cuisine utilizing cutting-edge culinary trends. The expansive patio boasts breathtaking views of nearby Camelback Mountain, the underground wine cellar holds the contents of LON’s award-winning wine list and the décor exudes the resort’s luxury desert feel. The fine-dining restaurant is also complimented by its casual dining counterpart and bar, LON’s Last Drop – aptly named after one of the many paintings by Megargee that can be seen throughout the historic inn – which also features the cuisine of LON’s culinary team, along with hand-crafted cocktails,
American-made boutique liquors, and locally brewed beers.
